How to Auto-Sync 5paisa with TradesViz Step-by-Step Guide
Quick Start
To auto-sync your 5paisa account, visit https://tradesviz.com/import/.
Use the first dropdown to choose your trading account, the second dropdown to choose 5paisa,
then switch to the Auto-Sync tab and follow the steps below.
You can also open Import/Export from your profile menu in the top-right corner.
Auto-Sync Setup Instructions
One of India's leading discount brokers - 5paisa is now available for auto-import for all Indian traders looking for an advanced automated and affordable trade journaling solution.
This is the first time ever that a trading journal as advanced as TradesViz has supported auto-import from 5paisa! We hope this makes trade journaling super easy for all Indian traders!
The sync method is super simple! Here is what you need to do:
- Visit tradesviz.com/import
- Select the trading account you want to import your trades into
- Select "5paisa API" as the platform
- Scroll down the page and click on the "Login & Sync 5paisa" button
- In the popup box that appears, you can read more about how this sync works. Now click on "5paisa Login" and you will be redirected to a 5paisa-hosted webpage.

- Enter your credentials here (Note: we have no access to this as it's on 5paisa's website) and complete the login process. You may not see this step if you are already logged into the 5paisa console.
- Once you have completed the login process, you will be redirected to the import page and the trades import will start automatically.
That is all! Just 2 clicks and you have all your trades with charts, and statistics available in TradesViz!
A few caveats:
- Since we do NOT store ANY information - i.e access tokens or any such identification mechanism, you need to do this process whenever you want to sync your trades. The main reason for this is that 5paisa clears all session data every day - so even if we were to store access and refresh tokens, it would be invalid the next day.
- You need to sync your trades every day so that you do not lose information - 5paisa API only provides information for trades executed on any given day. For example, you cannot sync yesterday's trades today.
That's it! This is the easiest way to sync your trades from 5paisa to TradesViz!

Important Notes About Auto-Sync
- Auto-sync only brings in recent / new trades going forward. For older history, first do a one-time
manual file import from the Upload File tab, then enable auto-sync.
- TradesViz uses read-only access wherever the broker supports it. We never request trading,
transfer, or withdrawal permissions.
- Some brokers (OAuth-based) expire connections periodically and require you to reconnect.
Troubleshooting
- If the connection fails, double-check API keys / OAuth login and that required permissions are granted.
- Make sure the trading account in TradesViz matches the asset class (stocks vs. futures vs. crypto).
- If sync stops bringing in new trades, reconnect the broker from the Auto-Sync connections page.
Need Help?
Email support@tradesviz.com with your broker, the trading account name in
TradesViz, and a screenshot of the error.
If your broker is not yet supported for auto-sync, see our
supported brokers list or contact support to request it.
FAQ
Why are old trades missing after I connected auto-sync?
Auto-sync only fetches recent history. Import a historical CSV/Excel file first from the Upload File
tab, then enable auto-sync for new trades going forward.
How often does auto-sync run?
Connections are synced automatically on a recurring schedule (typically daily). You can also trigger a
manual sync from the Auto-Sync connections page.
Is auto-sync safe? Can TradesViz trade on my account?
No. TradesViz requests read-only access whenever the broker supports it. We do not place trades or move
funds. For OAuth-based brokers, the consent screen will show exactly which scopes are granted.
