How to Import Trades from WealthCharts Instructions to TradesViz Step-by-Step Guide

Quick Start


To import your file from WealthCharts Instructions, visit https://tradesviz.com/import/.

Use the first dropdown to choose your trading account and the second dropdown to choose WealthCharts Instructions.


You can also open Import/Export from your profile menu in the top-right corner.

Currently Supported:


  • Futures
  • Stock
  • Options


  1. Login to Wealthcharts.com and select the APEX layout and then select your account
  2. Navigate to history on the left side and wait for the trade history to populate
  3. Click the gear cog icon
  4. Select which options you want to view (by default, all are checked)
  5. Click "export to csv" to download the CSV file
  6. Upload this file by clicking on the "Choose File" box in this page.


Note: Your file should have the at least the following columns: 'symbol', 'price_done', 'qty_done', 'last_time'


Alternative Instructions


  1. Login to Wealthcharts.com
  2. Click on Orders tab
  3. Under the filter dropdown, click on "All orders"
  4. Click "export to csv" to download the CSV file
  5. Upload this file by clicking on the "Choose File" box in this page.


Note: If you are not able to see the symbol column in your file, please logout of Wealthcharts and login again and try exporting the file.


Troubleshooting


  • Follow the exact export format shown below for your broker.
  • If import fails, re-export a fresh file and try again.
  • Ensure required columns are present and headers are unchanged.

Why does my import fail?


Most import failures happen due to changed export format, missing columns, or custom-edited files.


Can I import only a date range?


Yes. Export the date range you want from your broker and import that file into TradesViz.


What should I send support?


Share your broker name, export steps, and one sample file, then email everything to support@tradesviz.com so support can debug or add broker coverage quickly.
