  • Stock Options
  • Futures
  • Futures Options

  1. Login to your account in the Tastyworks desktop application.
  2. Click on the Clock icon (or History tab) below the "Activities" tab on the left side.
  3. In the history window which lists your executions, make sure the "transactions" tab is selected (and NOT "year to date") on the top left corner and select the date, day and filters according to your preferences.
  4. In the type filter, make sure "Any" is selected
  5. Finally, click on the "CSV" button on the top right. (Note: If you are not able to see the CSV button or the date range selectors, close the ticker info tab (which is hiding the CSV and the date range below it) by clicking on the arrow pointing to the right on the top of the tab.)
  6. Save the CSV file anywhere you want and upload it by clicking on the "Choose File" box in this page.

Note: For older desktop versions, please make sure that columns such as execution time, price are present in the csv file. To make sure of this, click on the "Trade History" tab in the "Account Statement" section and make sure to click on the "More fields" button (right most - 2 arrows outside) if it's not already selected.

Note: If you trade a lot of options that expire worthless, please uncheck the "Auto add closing executions for expired options?" option below. You only need to do this if the default setting (checked) does not generate the correct PnL for you on TradesViz.

Troubleshooting

  • Follow the exact export format shown below for your broker.
  • If import fails, re-export a fresh file and try again.
  • Ensure required columns are present and headers are unchanged.

Yes. Export the date range you want from your broker and import that file into TradesViz.
