How to Import Trades from Questrade Instructions to TradesViz Step-by-Step Guide
Quick Start
To import your file from Questrade Instructions, visit https://tradesviz.com/import/.
Use the first dropdown to choose your trading account and the second dropdown to choose Questrade Instructions.
You can also open Import/Export from your profile menu in the top-right corner.

Currently Supported:

Note: You can automatically sync your trades by connecting directly with Questrade! Learn more: https://tradesviz.com/blog/auto-import-questrade/
- Go to Questrade reports and then Account activity.
- Now select the dates of activity and also the account.
- Unselect all the options under "Activity types" except for "Trades".
- Click on export to XLSX and upload this file by clicking on the "Choose File" box in this page.
Note: The above format does not have full timestamps. If you want more accurate data representation, we suggest you export from the IQ Edge platform using the instructions below.
Alternative Instructions:
- Open the IQ Edge platform and select "Tools" and then "Account".
- Select the "Executions" tab.
- Right click anywhere within the Executions window and select "Edit columns".
- Make sure atleast the following columns are selected: Symbol, Description, Action, Fill price, Fill qty, Account, Commission, Total Value, Time Placed, Exec time.
- Click "OK" to save these settings.
- Now again, right click anywhere within the Executions window and select "Export" and save the CSV file.
- Upload this file by clicking on the "Choose File" box in this page.
Note: We also support imports from Questrade's CFD accounts
Alternative Instructions:
- Login to Questrade.com Click on Individial FX & CFD account
- Click on "Historical reports" tab on top menu and then click "open" under trades menu
- Selec the preferred date range and the type of trades you want to export and click export
- Upload this file by clicking on the "Choose File" box in this page.
Troubleshooting
- Follow the exact export format shown below for your broker.
- If import fails, re-export a fresh file and try again.
- Ensure required columns are present and headers are unchanged.

Can I import only a date range?
Yes. Export the date range you want from your broker and import that file into TradesViz.
What should I send support?
Share your broker name, export steps, and one sample file, then email everything to support@tradesviz.com so support can debug or add broker coverage quickly.
