How to import trades from TDAmeritrade (Alt) Instructions to TradesViz trading journal?

To import your file, please visit https://tradesviz.com/import by selecting the import button at the bottom left corner of your dashboard or by clicking on your profile icon at the top right corner and selecting "Import/Export". Next, select your trading account in the first dropdown and then the platform as TDAmeritrade (Alt) Instructions in the second dropdown.

Note: You can automatically sync your trades by connecting directly with Schwab! Learn more: https://tradesviz.com/blog/auto-import-schwab/

1. Log on to https://invest.ameritrade.com/
2. Click on "My account" tab and then select "Transactions" under "History and Statements"
3. Select your desired date range
4. Click on "Download"
5. Upload this file by clicking on the "Choose File" box in this page.

Note: Timestamp info (HH:MM:SS) is NOT available in the transactions.csv file that you upload. All dates will have a default time of 11:59:59.

Please make sure to follow the instructions exactly to import your data correctly. If you still have any issues, please don't hesitate to contact us at support@tradesviz.com with info about your broker/platform and the file as the attachment.

If you do not see your broker on in our supported brokers list, please contact us at support@tradesviz.com with: Broker/platform name & website, CSV/XLS/TXT file of the trades, instructions you used to export the file. Once we get the information, we will add support for your broker/platform as soon as we can.
